About the event
Celtic Worlds- The Wisdom of the Upper World and Sky Realms
Explore your inner myths & legends with the help of ceremonial Priestess, Rebecca Burgess. Throughout the ceremony, Rebecca will weave together powerful ancient Celtic rituals to help you to strip yourself of all that keeps you from embodying & expressing your inner Sovereignty.
You will walk up Helmans Tor feeling perhaps blocked or hidden away from your desires. Yet by the time you walk back down the Tor, every cell in your being will be buzzing with the empowering energies of your Inner Queen, King or Sovereign. This will stand you in good stead to go out and recapture your desires in a quest for a life filled with joy, gratitude, & peace.
You will learn how to allow the feelings and energies of goodness to rise up and settle within your body; together, we will raise power to empower.
You will become a Guardian of all that is good & right in your life, a champion of self-expression and chasing your biggest dreams down through to completion. There will be no holding you back.
All of this will culminate in a celebration with the Gods! We will send them offerings as we celebrate their guidance and our very existence.
This will be a ceremony brimming with personal power & celebration.
The Ceremony will end with a Sound Journey inspired by The realms of the Sky, a- top Helman Tor, you will be guided inwards as you explore the wisdom of the Heavens, receiving celestial and ethereal frequencies.
About Helman Tor
Helman is an example of what has become known as a tor enclosure. Here Neolithic man has made clever use of a naturally defendable feature in the landscape and constructed a series of walls to form an enclosed settlement. Safe from invaders and with an excellent view of the countryside in all directions.
Early life on Helman, almost unimaginable to us now, began between 4500BC and 2200BC and lasted for about 300 years. Excavations at the site uncovered greenstone axeheads, flint tools, stone querns and pottery. On the fertile slopes below the tor, the remains of an ancient field system has been found. It is thought that the physical prominence of the tor in the landscape not only made it secure but also gave it ceremonial importance.
